The past few years we’ve had rain and hot days at WOMADelaide so we were very happy with the gentle weather this time around. Highlights for our kids were The Colour of Time, Evelyn Roth’s Nylon Zoo (even our big kids weren’t too cool for school to get dressed up and join in the fun), getting their groove to the dub reggae tunes at Shantel & Bucovina Club Orkestar, and the rich vocals of Teeks.
We also enjoyed learning about Kaurna culture at Uncle Steve’s Kaurna classroom, and stuffing our faces with South-East Asian street food at the very delicious Souki La La. And our children especially appreciated the Leafies leaf sculptures dotted throughout the park.
